EuroV1sion
The EuroV1sion Consortium aims to study the functional and structural organization of the visual cortex during normal development, plasticity and pathology using innovative techniques developed by the consortium. The knowledge will be applied to develop novel strategies to increase plasticity in the adult brain and to treat amblyopia ('lazy eye', the most prevalent visual disorder among young people.)
The EuroV1sion Consortium is supported through Coordination Theme 1 (Health) of the European Community's FP7, Grant agreement number HEALTH-F2-2008-223326.
